The shift is both a nod of deference to his Acadian heritage, and in recognition of the fact that the artist he was is no longer the artist he is today. Deeply personal and unapologetically vulnerable, the Other. is a collection of music that explores grief, depression, and the masks we wear while pretending that everything is okay.”

An improvised, immersive solo recording built from live baritone saxophone, looping, and evolving textures. Emerging from a personal meditation practice, the music unfolds between stillness and motion as tones arise, overlap, and dissolve. Through active listening, the piece becomes an exploration of impermanence; sound appearing, suddenly shifting, and fading away, much like the wandering mind.
